Shyam Thandullu is a jazz multi-instrumentalist from Plano, Texas, currently studying in Austin. Shyam has had the privilege of performing at renowned venues such as Dizzy's Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Smalls Jazz Club. Shyam is honored to have had several significant mentors that have guided him along, including Diego Rivera, Jamie Baum, Frank Lacy, Jim Saltzman, Rogerio Boccato, Ingrid Jensen, and more.

Shyam has received national acclaim from institutions such as the National YoungArts Foundation and has been awarded merits from Jazz at Lincoln Center through their "Essentially Ellington" Competition & Festival. A student at the University of Texas at Austin, Shyam hopes to inspire young musicians through his playing, and honor the legacy and tradition of the greats that came before him.
